My name is Darrell Dwire currently I live in Crosby, MN I grew up in Pequot Lakes and have been fishing the lakes areas for 20yrs. One of my favorite memories is fishing a small bog lake with my dad for pike I must have been 7 or 8 and I remember my dad catching this monster pike and it pulling us in the canoe and when he got it to the boat it looked like a log in the water to me. Now I've put my dad on his biggest fish so far a 49" musky. Thats what it is all about, the memories. I have twin girls that are just over 4 yrs old that are making me proud everytime I take them out fishing. That's why I believe in catch and release so others and future generations can experience the memories.

I am a certified EMT-B and certified in Outdoor Emergency Care. I am an EMT in Crosby at Cuyuna Medical Center currently going to school to become a paramedic. I'm also a ski patroler at Ski Gull in Brainerd.
